Vintage Bill Blass for Bond Street Rose & Houndstooth Trench Coat

It's been quite some time since I've had a free moment to sit down and blog.   I hope everyone had a great holiday and a very happy New Year!

I've been very busy since the new year!  I've spent the past 3 weeks shopping at my local thrift stores, mainly Goodwill, looking for inventory to sell on eBay.  Let me tell you...it's a BLAST!  I am completely addicted to shopping at Goodwill now.  You would not believe what people will give away.  Just yesterday, I shopped at three different Goodwill locations here in Louisville, Kentucky and I found tons of Polo Ralph Lauren sweaters, Brooks Brothers sweaters, Lands' End coats,  J. Crew cashmere sweaters, a Woolrich down-filled Vest and a vintage Burberry sport coat.  And the amazing thing is that nothing cost more than $5.00.  In fact, most everything I bought was just $2.50.  What a lot of people don't know is that this stuff sells for great money on eBay.

So I have to share with you  my most exciting find yesterday.  It's this GORGEOUS Bill Blass for Bond Street Rose & Houndstooth Trench Coat.

This coat appears to be from the 1960's and is in brand new condition.  It's absolutely superb!  I've spent hours researching this coat trying to find out what it's worth.  If anyone has any expertise in vintage designers, I'd love your input on this one.  I'll keep you posted on my findings!

Till next time, happy shopping!
